Prior to returning to COS, she worked as a senior medical writer at AbbVie and COS, and a medical writer at MMS Holdings, Inc. In addition, Jamie was an adjunct professor in the Chemistry Department at Henry Ford Community College and a research scientist at Innovative Biotherapies.

Jamie has extensive clinical and regulatory medical writing experience in the therapeutic areas of hematology, diabetes, neurobiology, renal failure/kidney disease, immunology, and oncology, and has worked on a broad range of documents including clinical and patient-reported outcome reports, manuscripts, briefing documents, clinical study reports, protocols, health authority response documents, and narratives.

Jamie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology at Michigan State University and her Doctorate in Chemistry at Wayne State University.
