We are looking for an experienced Senior Scientific Research Associate to join our growing global team.

Location: Tucson, AZ, Chicago IL, or Folkestone, UK

Remote working is available.

Our Research Associates work directly with senior team on patient-centered qualitative outcomes research (clinical outcomes assessment) studies to better understand humanistic clinical benefit within the context of observational or clinical studies. This role offers the opportunity to work locally and globally on patient-centered research studies across multiple therapeutic areas. Measures include patient-, clinician-, and observer- reported outcomes to understand health-related quality of life and symptomology impact of disease on patients.

Senior Scientific Research Associate 


Duties

Work directly with senior team on patient-centered qualitative outcomes research (clinical outcomes assessment) studies to better understand humanistic clinical benefit within the context of observational or clinical studies. This role offers the opportunity to work locally and globally on patient-centered research studies across multiple therapeutic areas. Measures include patient-, clinician-, and observer-reported outcomes to understand health-related quality of life and symptomology impact of disease on patients. 

Skills:

  • Conduct literature reviews across multiple therapeutic indications
  • Assist in the preparation of study documents for qualitative studies
  • Assist with conducting qualitative studies
  • Familiarity with outcomes research field to support new drug development
  • Willingness and ability to conduct patient interviews (some travel required)
  • Experience with coding patient transcripts
  • Desire to work on a small team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Able to work on several projects at once, multi-task, and manage competing demands
  • Able to manage work time by using time efficiently, work quickly, and meet productivity standards

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, epidemiology, public health, outcomes research, health sciences or related areas is required (Master’s preferred) 

  • 3 – 4 years of experience in conducting or supporting ongoing research efforts

  • Strong qualitative skills; experience with NVivo or similar software program
