As a chartered psychologist, Claire has utilised her expertise in the formulation of measurement strategies for clinical programmes and in the evaluation, development, adaption and validation of Patient Reported Outcomes, paper and electronic, for clinical trials; developing measures with strong scientific rigour and in line with regulatory guidance to support label claims, publication strategies and marketing materials. Claire has also led the development of measures and materials for use in clinical practice as part of Electronic Health Records, screening practices and general research projects. Claire has supported compounds at all stages of the product lifecycle from early proof of concept to phase IV, working in multiple therapeutic areas including respiratory, women’s health, sexual health, HIV and pain.

Claire has also worked at the University of Sheffield, School of Health & Related Research (ScHARR) within the Section of Public Health, a department specialising in systematic reviews for treatment guidelines and the development of quality initiatives supporting the NHS. Claire worked closely on a National Sentinel Audit programme aimed to facilitate quality improvement in primary care by developing evidence based review criteria for a number of important conditions that have been implemented within the NHS.

Claire has expertise in the design, management and analysis of multiple qualitative and quantitative research projects, conducting systematic reviews, in-depth interviews, and is well experienced in the oversight of multi-study programmes and budget management.

Claire is a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and the BPS Division of Health Psychology. Claire has a MSc in Health Psychology from University College London and has published research in peer reviewed journals, conference abstracts and presentations.
