Jennifer Clegg is a Research Scientist on the Clinical Outcomes Assessments team, based remotely in Miami with Chicago as her home office. Prior to joining COS, she was a qualitative researcher at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the Applied Clinical Research Center. Her work within a research consortium on an NIH grant focused on the clinical validation of pediatric PROMIS measures among children with chronic diseases. Specifically, she led the content validation phase of three studies at CHOP including Crohn’s disease, chronic kidney disease and cancer survivors, which included the modification of existing PROMIS measures, four of which are now undergoing review for FDA qualification. She has extensive experience in phenomenology, qualitative interviewing, analysis and interpretation. During graduate school, Jennifer was a project manager on a study about information processing in depression at Stanford University. For her master’s degree, she published her thesis on the phenomenological experience of parkour and freerunning, which was nominated for paper of the year. Jennifer received her B.S. from the University of North Texas and her M.A. in Sport Psychology from San Jose State University.
